Transforming the lives of children & young people with neurodevelopmental conditions
Welcome to the MB Psychology Clinic in North London.
We are a dynamic team of private psychologists and therapists, specialising in the diagnosis and treatment of young people with neurodevelopmental conditions such as Autism & ADHD, from childhood to young adulthood.
Collaborative treatment for neurodiverse children, adolescents and young adults.
Are you concerned that your child or young adult may have a neurodevelopmental condition? Have they received a diagnosis for a neurodevelopmental condition and are struggling with their social and emotional wellbeing? Is their behaviour starting to impact your wider family or causing problems at school?
We can help.
Watching your child struggle with the unique challenges of living with a neurodevelopmental condition can leave you feeling powerless. You want them to have the best possible life.
You don’t have to navigate this path alone.
MB Psychology believes that life changing treatment begins with trust. We work exclusively with neurodiverse young people and their families to nurture their strengths and to support them through the challenges they face in all aspects of their lives.
We change lives.
Expert, attentive, kind & caring support for unique young people.
Seeking help is the first step towards improving a young person’s mental health, supporting their social & emotional lives and nurturing their future personal development.
As a parent of a neurodiverse young person, you may know that there is a higher prevalence of mental health difficulties in those individuals with neurodivergent conditions.
You’ll also know that your child requires tailored treatment from practitioners who have a sound understanding of neurodiverse presentations and can adapt the therapeutic approach to meet their individual needs and goals.
At MB Psychology we understand that the process of coming to therapy can be hard. We therefore strive to create a warm, supportive and nurturing environment.
Meet our Founder
Hi, I’m Michelle,
As a mum, I understand that you love and care for your child more than anything and that you want to provide the best possible start for them in life. It can feel daunting trying to find the right professional help to support them in their unique neurodiversity. You need to know that they will be treated with kindness and warmth by a professional with a high level of competence and experience working therapeutically with neurodiverse children and young people.
Improving the psychological wellbeing of neurodiverse children and young people by supporting them in overcoming their emotional, social and behavioural challenges has been my passion for over 15 years.
If you’d like to know more about how we can help, please get in touch. I’d love to hear from you
We accept self-referrals as well as referrals from GPs and other healthcare professionals.
How we'd work together
We believe that the best way to make long lasting, positive impacts on young people’s lives is to build transparent, warm and trusting relationships with them and their families.
We are guided by evidence-based approaches and we build individual and bespoke treatment plans for all our clients.
While talking is a key part of the work we do, we also draw on a range of integrated and creative mediums, such as art, drama, sensory play and music to ensure young people can access therapy in a meaningful way.
We can also tell you if we think your child would benefit from a different type of treatment. We can refer clients to other clinicians in our network such as psychiatrists, educational psychologists, occupational therapists, speech and language therapists and play therapists.
We’d start by carrying out an in-depth assessment of your child. This would take place either in our North London clinic or on Zoom. After this first consultation, we’ll provide you with our initial impressions and our recommendations for treatment. This would include type of therapy, number of sessions and frequency of sessions.
Our approach is truly collaborative.
That means we’ll also communicate with family members, other professionals and schools, if appropriate.
